Find the Cohocton Fall Foliage Pumpkin Contest

Hidden somewhere in the Village of Cohocton
Are you up for the challenge of being the 1st person to find this pumpkin?

1st place prize $100 to the first person to submit a picture of themselves with the Pumpkin via email to: cohoctonvendors@yahoo.com

2nd place prize of $50 will be awarded from a drawing of all the great hunters who submit their picture with the pumpkin

All emails must include the name and address of the hunter.  All emails must be received by 3pm Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Winners will be announced at 3pm Sunday, October 5th at the Information Booth on the Village Green. 

Cohocton Development Corporation is not responsible for late entries.

 2025 Schedule of Events

Cohocton's annual Fall Foliage Festival, which began in 1966, is a community event in which the residents of Cohocton and neighboring communities gather to celebrate the magnificent surrounding hills in all of its colorful splendor. We have many arts, crafts, flea market, antique and food vendors located on the Town and Village greens, 15 South Main Street, Cohocton, New York.


 This year come visit our 7th annual "Fruits of the Press" Wine tasting tent on Saturday and Sunday, right on the festival grounds! 

 On Sunday we are hosting the Antique Tractor Show, annual Fall Classic Antique & Vintage Snowmobile Show and Fall Classic Car Show. 

These exhibits will be held in the Wayland-Cohocton Elementary School parking lot on Park Ave. 

There will also be a parade (Saturday at noon), live music in the gazebo, and free horse drawn wagon rides Saturday and Sunday afternoon! 

  Plenty of fun for the whole family!

Cohocton Pre-K Duck Float

​The Cohocton Pre-K classes will be coloring a Fall Foliage picture for the Duck Drop Contest held on Sunday, October 5th at 3pm down by the Village Highway barn.  Their color page will be assigned a number that is on a duck.  The Wayland Fire Department will be showcasing their ladder truck to drop the ducks into the Cohocton River behind Good Easts BBQ Inc.  Come watch the fun to see which duck crosses the finish line first.  Prizes will be awarded to the Pre-K student for first, second, and last place whose duck get to the finish line located at the Village Highway barns.
